Friend and Family Day with Missionary Josh Sullivan
On June 22nd at 10 a.m. Whitfield Baptist will have Missionary Josh Sullivan and his family as their special guest for Friend and Family Day .
“Josh is one of Whitfield Baptist’s many missionaries that we support but he is very close to our church because of his partnership with three missionaries directly out of our church serving in South Africa, The Jeremy Hall family, the Kevin Hall family, and The Mark Coffey family all from Dalton and graduated from Northwest and Southeast high schools and were trained in our church.”
- Pastor Wayne Cofield
Missionary Josh Sullivan was miraculously unharmed after a deadly shootout between South African police and his four kidnappers. On Thursday, April 10th Josh Sullivan was taken hostage at gunpoint during his church service in front of his wife and six children. After spending five frightening days in captivity, he was miraculously rescued following a worldwide prayer effort. Josh will share his testimony about his miraculous rescue at 10 AM in the main sanctuary of Whitfield Baptist located at 2134 Dug Gap Rd in Dalton Ga. He will be preaching during the 11 AM service. Pastor Wayne Cofield invites everyone to attend and a nursery and pre school church will be provided for the 11 AM service.
